Directions to Park Street car park…

From the North or South M11

·           Exit the M11 at Jn 12

·           Take theA603 into Cambridge

·           Follow this road, Barton Road, until the traffic lights at the end, where the main road turns left into Newnham Road

·           At the round-about go straight on into Queens Road (passing a Shell garage on your left)

·           At the mini round-about take the exit that is to the right called Northampton Street

·           Follow this road until you come to a one way system aptly called Staples Corner.

·           Take the right hand lane and you need to go right around the one way system until you are facing the way you just came!

·           Turn left on to Victoria Avenue exit by the Two Seasons outdoor shop.

·           Pass Jesus College on your right hand side.

·           At the round about take the 3^rd exit onto Jesus Lane.

·           Turn right at the traffic lights onto Park Street.

·           Park Street car park is on your left.

From The East A14

·           Exit Jn 33 off the A14

·           Head into Cambridge City Centre on the A1309

·           This is called Milton Road

·           When you hit the one way system take the Victoria Road exit by the Two Seasons outdoor shop.

·           Pass Jesus College on your right hand side.

·           At the round about take the 3^rd exit onto Jesus Lane.

·           Turn right at the traffic lights onto Park Street.

·           Park Street car park is on your left.

If you would like to stay at the Arundel please book directly with them. This is the closest hotel to Jesus College and The Georgina; it is a beautiful old hotel over looking the river!

Other Information

Parking

Cambridge is quite strict on parking! Jesus College will allow cars to park on in their grounds if they have booked a room for the night.

We have secured 30 parking spaces at Park Street car park , whch is a multi-story car park on Park Street, off Jesus Lane. These have been kindly provided by Cambridge City Council at a reduced rate of £10 per car. The Chief Usher will have the parking tickets for you to purchase on the day. You can exit the car park either after the wedding meal or after the boat trip. It is a 24 hour CCTV car park.

The Georgina

Once the boat sets sail at 8pm it travels up the river for 2 hours and then turns round and returns at midnight. The boat does not stop during the trip, so please be aware that once you have boarded the boat at 8pm you will not be disembarking and returning to your cars until after midnight.

We understand that this could be a very late night for children and for those who have long journeys home. We are planning on arriving at the Georgina for about 7pm so those who choose not to come along for the trip, will still be able to spend an hour on the boat and see our first dance and celebrate with us for a short while.

Please let us know if you are not planning on staying for the boat trip, so that we can confirm the numbers with the organiser
